SPORTS MASSAGE THERAPY
This sports massage course is a must for sports and fitness enthusiasts. It will train you how to treat sports injuries and help athletes recover from injury with cutting edge sports massage techniques, fitness therapy and rehabilitation techniques

The programme will equip you with a range of techniques and skills that includes,advance massage techniques, neuro muscular techniques, muscle energy techniques, passive active and resistive exercises, joint mobilisation, rehabilitation programmes and exercise physiology, enabling the therapist to assist active persons in maintaining optimal conditioning, and recovery from injury.

While the main focus of the course is on advanced massage techniques, the programme also equips you with the skills and knowledge to assist those who are physically active or recovering from injury. This can be achieved through exercise and rehabilitative techniques you will learn on the course, and will enable you to prescribe programmes that will

-increase range of motion and flexibility
-enhance balance and co-ordination
-avoid repetitive injuries

You will also be trained how to monitor your clients progress and adapt their programmes were needed.

UNDERGRADUATE PROGRAMME
Fast track your career into the world of sports therapy and massage with this unique programme that offers you two international qualifications combined in one programme (ITEC Holistic Massage Diploma and ITEC Sports Massage Diploma).
The undergraduate programme is designed for those with no prior knowledge of massage. It is ideal for those looking to start a career, or for those already practicing in Beauty, Complimentary or Fitness therapies.
POST GRADUATE PROGRAMME
The post-graduate programme is designed for those with a recognised body massage qualification.
UNDER GRADUATE COURSE
ENTRY REQUIREMENTS: NONE The programme is designed for those with NO prior knowledge.
This course runs every Monday & Friday evening and also includes 4 Sunday classes (Daytime) in Oct, Nov,Jan and feb
START DATE: Sunday 17th October 2010
FINISH DATE: late June 2011
TIMES: 7pm to 10pm
FEES: €3500 discount of €900 You Pay €2600 (includes Folder, Tunic and exam Fees)

POST GRADUATE COURSE
ENTRY REQUIREMENTS: Students must hold ITEC body massage diploma (or equivalent) and PCBA and A&P. If qualification unknown the student MUST contact ITEC prior to registering to ensure qualification is recognised by ITEC and is acceptable to eliminate any potential issues.
START DATE: Daytime Saturday 16th October 2010 * runs every other Saturday
FINISH DATE: late June 2011
TIMES: 10am to 4.30pm
FEES: €1800 current discount of €400 You Pay €1400 (includes Folder, and exam Fees)
